Our responsibility

People first.
Information with integrity.

Immigration decisions affect people, families and futures. Our responsibility begins with how we communicate, what we claim and how we treat the people who turn to us.

Our responsibility

Trust must be earned
through clear conduct.

Portugal Path is operated by Feitiço de Júpiter, Registration No. 518847837. We aim to make Portuguese visa and residence information easier to understand while being honest about uncertainty and the limits of our role.

This page sets out our commitments. It is not a report of independently audited social-impact results. We do not present aspirations as completed programmes or imply charitable affiliations, certifications or partnerships.

01 / Human dignity and inclusion

Respect is the starting point.

We commit to respectful, nondiscriminatory communication, recognising that applicants have different backgrounds, resources, languages and personal circumstances.

Listen without assumptions.

We aim to understand the question being asked and explain what information is needed, without treating nationality, wealth or personal background as a measure of someone’s worth.

Explain without pressure.

We aim to avoid fear-based marketing, artificial urgency and promises that conceal uncertainty. People should be able to consider the scope and costs of assistance before deciding.

Respect individual choice.

A relocation plan is a personal decision. Information should support informed choices, including the choice to pause, seek another opinion or not proceed.

02 / Responsible immigration information

Evidence before assurances.

Our editorial approach is to connect information to official sources, identify important limitations and distinguish immigration procedures that are often confused.

Use primary sources.

Readers should be able to follow references to the applicable authorities and legal framework. The official requirements in force and case-specific instructions take precedence over a website summary.

Acknowledge uncertainty.

Published regulations, proposals and unavailable application routes must not be presented as interchangeable. A review date records an editorial check; it does not guarantee that requirements will remain unchanged.

No guaranteed outcomes.

Visa and residence decisions belong to the competent authorities. General information and administrative coordination do not replace regulated legal or tax advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

03 / Accessibility and equal access

Make information
easier to use.

We aim for readable text, descriptive links, meaningful headings, labelled forms, keyboard access and layouts that work on smaller screens. We seek to reduce unnecessary motion and avoid relying on colour alone to communicate meaning.

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a certification we claim to have achieved. If a barrier prevents you from using our content, please tell us which page or interaction caused difficulty. We will consider a practical alternative format or explanation where possible.

04 / Privacy and data protection

Ask for what matters.
Handle it with care.

We aim to limit initial enquiries to the information necessary to understand and respond to a question. Do not send passports, bank statements, medical details or other sensitive records through the initial contact form.

Before exchanging documents, discuss the purpose, appropriate channel and scope with the team. Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains the information handling described for this website. This commitment does not claim unverified security certifications or compliance mechanisms.

05 / Community and social contribution

Useful information is a place to begin.

We intend to keep useful general guidance publicly accessible and to consider reader feedback when identifying subjects that need clearer explanation.

We welcome suggestions for information gaps affecting people navigating relocation. We do not claim an established donation programme, scholarship scheme, volunteer project or NGO partnership. Any future initiative should be described with its actual scope, dates and evidence.

06 / Environmental awareness

Make practical choices.
Keep claims proportionate.

We aim to favour digital information and remote coordination where appropriate, while respecting official requirements for original documents and in-person procedures.

We encourage considered use of printing and travel. These are practical intentions; we do not claim measured emissions reductions, carbon neutrality or environmental certification.

07 / Accountability and contact

Questions and corrections
are welcome.

If you identify an error, an accessibility barrier or a concern about our communication, please send the page URL and a short explanation. For a factual correction, an official source helps us assess the issue.

Email info@portugalpath.com or use our contact page. Avoid sharing sensitive personal documents in an initial message.
